As a writer and director for fiction-films, formats and series I believe in precise concept and thoroughly developed screenplays – even if it feels casual in the end. I love to work on my own projects as much as supporting and taking on foreign work. I'm very good at empathising with other people's visions and bringing them to live, both as a writer and director. I hugely enjoy collaborating, I'm a good sparring partner for ideas and a firm believer that the best solutions arise from teamwork.
I studied writing and directing at Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (Academy of Media Arts Cologne), my graduation film "Unter den Händen" premiered at Hof International Filmfestival, was nominated for "Best Short" at Studio Hamburg Nachwuchspreis and shown several times on television.
In 2022 I participated in 33. Drehbuchwerkstatt München scholarship with my feature-lenth screenplay "Wie aus dem Gesicht".
